A Teaser...And Big Things to Come

I've been sitting on these photos for a few days...it's so very surreal to see them! (Wait...what? We got married?!) At long last, I'm ready to share them...although I did consider holding off on sharing any official wedding photos until the relaunch of The Sweetest Occasion. Yup, that's right. The Sweetest Occasion is moving and getting a face lift, but you'll have to wait a few weeks to learn more. In the meantime, to those who have asked me whether I'll keep blogging (absolutely!) and whether the blog will remain wedding-based or become a newlywed blog, the answer is I will now have two blogs. I'm almost ready to share with you my newlywed project so sit tight and I promise lots of eye candy in the near future. (In the meantime, please leave me a comment with your email address if you're interested in helping critique before the big launch - I will pay my critics handsomely with homemade cookies during the holiday season!)

So, with all of that said, onto the photos. All photos were taken by our amazing photographer, James Bass out of Syracuse, NY.

This photo looks staged, but it's not. I was fastening my sister's necklace, one of the ones I made for my girls.

The DIY baby's breath bouquets in action. To answer the question, "was it worth it?" - absolutely! I'll share many more details soon!

Like my photo inspiration from the wedding of That Bride (now That Wife) aka Jenna, some fabulously fierce group shots of me and my girls and my bridesman - sans bouquets - were a high priority photography item. Check!

Meanwhile, on the other side of the village, James's second shooter for the evening, the equally talented John Larkin of Rochester, NY, caught this shot of the boys. Such hotties!

I told you, my favorite kind of group shots are those that are informal and dynamic. I love this shot.

I love love loved my dress and I love this photo - the details were so lovely!

I like this series....but man oh man do I hate that hair pin! It was moved later, but not in time to save these photos. *tsk tsk*

Pretty romantic shots on the dock were a must and my guy JB delivered. I love this one!

And again...these dock shots rock my world.

So very much more to come! Thank you to everyone for lending your support during the planning process - I can't wait to share more soon!

{Please link to James and to The Sweetest Occasion if you'd like to use the images for any reason. Thank you!}
